EMO takes over Marine Coordination for EnBW OWF Hohe See and Albatros

WINDEA's shareholder company EMS Maritime Offshore GmbH ("EMO") achieved the contract award for the marine coordination for the new EnBW project "Hohe See" and "Albatros". Until and including the commissioning of the wind farm a team of experienced nautical engineers will support the team of EnBW in the coordination centre in Hamburg. Beside of ensuring the safety and the smooth operations of maritime travel at the offshore site, EMO also coordinates the radio communication and provides emergency support.

EMO performs Marine Coordination for offshore wind farm “Arkona” in the Baltic Sea

Emden, 27 May 2017; Starting July 2017, EMS Maritime Offshore GmbH (“EMO”) from Emden will support the maritime coordination during the construction phase of the offshore wind farm "Arkona" in the Baltic Sea on behalf of E.ON for the joint venture of E.ON and Statoil. A team of experienced nautical engineers will complement the E.ON team at the Hamburg site until the planned commissioning of the wind farm is completed in 2019.

NHC serves GeoSea’s Innovation with ad hoc flights

Emden, 17th May 2017. Northern HeliCopter GmbH is not only operating scheduled flights but is also highly professional in ad hoc services. For the regular crew changes GeoSea NV and Northern HeliCopter GmbH (NHC) signed a framework agreement for helicopter transportation to the installation vessels. The Service Operation Vessel (SOV) of Bernhard Schulte, WINDEA LEIBNIZ, has been nominated ‚Ship of the Year 2017‘ by the maritime magazine Skipsrevyen. The winner will be announced on 30th May at the Nor-Shipping exhibition. The vessel was purpose build to meet the requirements of Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy and is currently working in the German wind farm Sandbank.

Norway, 13th March 2017  // The godmother Dai Ling named the second wind farm service vessel of Bernhard Schulte and ICBC Leasing “WINDEA LEIBNIZ”. The German mathematician, philosopher and physicist Gottfried Wilhelm von Leibniz proposed in the 17th century to use wind power to operate pumps. The naming ceremony was held in Ulsteinvik, Norway at the Ulstein Verft where the vessel was built. The vessel has been designed by Ulstein Design & Solutions AS.
