Naming of second wind farm service vessel of Bernhard Schulte

Norway, 13th March 2017  // The godmother Dai Ling named the second wind farm service vessel of Bernhard Schulte and ICBC Leasing “WINDEA LEIBNIZ”. The German mathematician, philosopher and physicist Gottfried Wilhelm von Leibniz proposed in the 17th century to use wind power to operate pumps. The naming ceremony was held in Ulsteinvik, Norway at the Ulstein Verft where the vessel was built. The vessel has been designed by Ulstein Design & Solutions AS. WINDEA La Cour receives Offshore Support Journal Award

London, 09th February 2017 // At the Annual Offshore Support Journal (OSJ) Conference in London on Wednesday night the Service Operation Vessel (SOV) "WINDEA La Cour" was recognized for its unique design concept. According to the jury, the specialized vessel, that started its service campaign for the charterer Siemens Wind Power at the 600MW Gemini offshore wind power plant in the Netherlands in September 2016, represents “a significant contribution to the development of the offshore renewables market during 2016”. WINDEA one Stays on Trianel Windkraftwerk Borkum Duty

Borkum, 06th February 2017 // The EMS Maritime Offshore GmbH (EMO) has secured a new charter contract through Trianel Windkraftwerk Borkum for the provision of the crew transfer vessel, the WINDEA one. EMO supports marine coordination for offshore wind farm Merkur

Emden, 23rd January 2017 // EMS Maritime Offshore GmbH (EMO) from Emden supports GeoSea’s marine coordination for the planning and construction phase of the offshore wind farm Merkur in the German Bight. During the construction and commissioning phase an experienced nautical team will work 24/7 to guarantee safety and a smooth sea traffic at the offshore site.
